The mission of the Masons of California is to foster personal growth and improve the lives of others. What happens in the Truckee meeting hall is reserved for members only BUT guests of Truckee's famed Historical Haunted Tour will enter this hall - and be privy to a scene inspired by days of yore.

- Brotherly love. Respect, freedom, kindness, tolerance, and differences - religious, ethnic, cultural, social, generational, and educational. Masons strive for harmony in individual lives, in the lodges, and in the global community.
- Relief. Masons take responsibility for the well-being of their brothers, families, and the community as a whole. They provide relief through philanthropy, community involvement, and delivery of excellent care.
- Truth. Masons stay true to their personal code of conduct and ethics - honor, integrity, personal responsibility, and the continuous pursuit of knowledge.
