100 percent of the funds raised from the Truckee Historical Haunted Tour raffle on Oct. 16 and 17 go directly to Trails and Vistas, the 501 c 3 nonprofit organization that produces an annual art hike and field trip.

Not so Haunted Night at the Museum

Book your Historical Haunted Tour date night for Friday, Oct. 17 and call the KidZone Museum at (530) 587-KIDS to reserve places for Not So Haunted Night at the Museum, a really fun night out with activities and a pizza dinner for ages 3 to 6.

Tour attendees receive a $5 discount on childcare for one child and the cost is an additional $10 per sibling.

October fundraiser keeps getting better!

Every year Truckee, Tahoe and regional businesses donate items to support fundraising during Truckee's Historical Haunted Tour. In addition to an overflowing gift basket from Coupe Sixty-One and Tahoe Donner ski passes, there is a sweatshirt from Larrissa Martinez of Truckee Love and a beautiful piece of jewelry from Karen Tillit of KT designs.

Come by Moody's Bistro Bar & Beats on Thursday, Oct. 16 and Friday, Oct. 17 and you just may walk away with one of these or many other treats. If you represent a local business, consider participating in our Truckee-packed raffle.

Gross receipts from Truckee's Historical Haunted Tour raffle go directly to Trails & Vistas, a 501 c 3 non profit organization dedicated to the arts and environment. Funding will support Trails & Vistas annual fieldtrips for third grade students from throughout the North Tahoe / Truckee region.

Our fifth Historical Haunted Tour will thrill attendees with captivating stories offering spooky and unexpected twists.

This year’s highly anticipated performances will take place in BeSpoke, Bluestone Jewelry, LaGalleria, the sacred Masonic Lodge 200, the Railroad Depot, Tahoe Oil & Spice and The Truckee Hotel.

“Expect clandestine affairs, carousing, gun fights and tales before untold,” shares sponsor and Tour producer Christina Stoever-Young of Sunshine Tahoe. “We know how to enchant a crowd with entertaining stories and incredibly talented actors in a way that makes visitors want to return to Truckee and the Lake Tahoe area every October.” Stoever-Young encourages guests to visit the Tour blog for more insights.
