Costumes are welcome this Thursday and Friday. Feel free to get a little naughty, extra nice, historic or Wild West! We'll have cowgirls, cowboys, ladies of the night, Victorian mistresses and a witch, no doubt!

This is one night you won't want to leave your wallet or purse behind. Open 'em up at Moody's for a chance to win raffle goodies and support our region's annual art hike produced by Trails & Vistas and the preservation of historic Truckee.

The 4th annual Historical Haunted Tour is almost here. We can hardly wait to see you at Moody's next Thursday and Friday! The action begins at 5pm and everyone (even those without tickets to the event) are invited to join us.

Rehearsals, colorful costumes and worthwhile raffle prizes have been keeping us busy. We could not put on such a fabulous fundraising event for Trails & Vistas and the Truckee Donner Historical Society without the knowledge and time offered by our gifted volunteers and generous sponsors.

A big note of thanks to all of the Tour's talented docents, researchers and writers as well as the Tour's 2012 sponsors  - KidZone Children's Museum, Mountain Home Center, Moody's Bistro Bar & Beats, Scraps Dog Bakery in Truckee, Spin Games, Squeeze In, Tahoe TV, Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce, The Pour House and The Richardson House.

The KidZone Museum's special Halloween Science with Professor Stickeybottom includes dinner and fun for ages 5 and up during the Thursday night of Truckee's Historical Haunted Tour!
