Sold out for the last four years in a row, the tour skillfully combines historical insights and haunted tales. All proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will benefit Trails & Vistas, a Truckee-based nonprofit organization that fuses art and nature through an annual, one of a kind art hike.
Featured haunts are responsible for providing access for three full rehearsal practice walks within 14 days of event (they tend to take place after regular business hours, dates TBD). In addition, someone must remain on-site from 5 to 9 p.m. the evenings of the tour. The organizers will provide volunteer actors for your building and welcome you to step back in time by dressing up to help orchestrate an interesting and entertaining presentation.
As a featured stop, business benefit from the Tour’s incredible regional media coverage and overall success as an annual sell out event honoring Truckee’s sensational history. The selected haunts will be included in all of the Tour’s media releases and marketing collateral including posters and e-marketing. In the past, the Tour has been promoted by all local media including Tahoe TV, Tahoetopia, The Weekly, Sierra Sun, Moonshine Ink, TahoeCulture.com, LakeTahoeNews.net, 101.5, as well as the Sacramento Bee, Reno Gazette Journal, Auburn Union, Marin Magazine and more. Marketing will kick into full gear this June.
